What is Timpani? A Special Drum That Makes a Symphony

The term Timpani is derived from the Italian word Timpano, meaning kettlebell. Timpani are a type of musical instrument generally used in concert bands and orchestral music.  They are tunable percussion instruments and can be tuned to different pitches. They are an integral part of classical music and add dramatic flair to it.
