Slushie Recipe with Coconut and Lime
Things needed:
- 2 and 1/4 cups of coconut milk, unsweetened, from a can
- 2-3/4 cups of limeade
- 1/4 cup of light rum
- The squeezed juice of three limes
- 1/4 cup of sugar made of coconut
Instructions:
- Get the Unit Ready: Connect the power cord to the device and activate it.
- Combine the Ingredients: Make an emulsion by whisking the limeade, coconut milk, light rum, lime juice, and coconut sugar in a large bowl until the mixture is smooth.
- Fill the Machine: Locate the top lid of the container and use the simple fill port to pour the mixture inside. Be sure to close the cover firmly. Fill it up to the top—at least 16 ounces and no more than 64 ounces of liquid—before you seal it.
- Select the Program: Choose the “Spiked Slush” preset. The machine will automatically begin operating at the ideal texture-matching temperature. To get the correct thickness, you may need to adjust the temperature.
- Freeze and Chill: The combination will be cooled using the fast chill technique. As the beverage cools down, the screen will flash. When it gets to the thickness you want, the program light will become solid and the machine will beep to let you know it’s finished.
- Enjoy! The slushie can keep its perfect temperature for up to twelve hours if left running. Under the pour handle, set a glass on top of the drip tray. The slushie may be dispensed by gently drawing the handle in your direction. To cease pouring, release the handle.
